Description: The AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship is provided annually to culinary arts majors and future chefs who are currently attending the Culinary Institute of America.

Application requirements for the AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship is provided annually to full time students attending the Culinary Institute of America. Applicants must plan to pursue a career as a chef. Applicants who are not awarded an ACF scholarship will be notified of their standing and may re-apply during successive award periods by submitting a complete new application, therefore, it is highly recommended that the applicant keep photocopies of all supporting documentation.

Award Amount: Awards are provided in amounts of between $1,000 and $2,500. Scholarship checks are made payable jointly to the recipient and the educational institution and may be applied towards any school-based fees, tuition, or other expenses. Any unused portion of the scholarship grant, by virtue of withdrawal from the program by the recipient, shall be returned by the school to the attention of the ACF Director of Education.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,667.

Applications and information about the AAC Culinary Institute of America Scholarship are available at the American Culinary Federation website at the address provided. In addition to a completed application, applicants must also submit: letters of recommendation or support, specifically for the ACF scholarship, from the local ACF Chapter, past or present employers, and educational institution officials attesting to the applicant's proficiency, dedication, aptitude, character or other attributes of interests; a financial aid release form; and a current official transcript showing applicant's grade point average. All applications and supporting documents must be received by the following deadlines: April 30 for the fall semester, and October 31 for the spring semester.
