Number of Awards & Eligibility: One or more awards offered annually, based on income from an endowment. This amount can vary each year. Last year, one award was offered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Maine.
  3. Must attend Central Maine Community College.
  4. Must pursue a career in architectural/engineering technologies, building construction or mechanical drafting.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate student at the time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for Maine residents who attend Central Maine Community College. Students must pursue a career in architectural/engineering technologies, building construction or mechanical drafting.

Application requirements for the Advancement of Construction Technology Scholarship at CMCC are:

Additional Information: The Maine Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute established this scholarship in 1993. The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is an individual membership technical society whose core purpose is to improve the process of creating and sustaining the built environment.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in January for a refreshed application deadline date. Applications are available at the financial aid office of Central Maine Community College (CMCC) beginning on or after Jan. 1 each year. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit two written references. The college sets its own deadline each year. The student should contact the financial aid office of the college for more specific information.
