Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award will be provided for each of the sixteen Austin ISD high schools.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  2. This award is for U.S. and international students.
  3. Must attend a high school in the Austin, Texas Independent School District (ISD).

Additional Information: The Austin, TX Kiwanis Scholarship is provided annually to graduating seniors at each of the high schools in the Austin Independent School District (ISD) in Austin, Texas. The award is sponsored by the local Kiwanis club, and will be awarded to students who demonstrate a record of community involvement, financial need, and strong potential to succeed academically in college. The Austin Community Foundation has provided more than $6.5 million in scholarship awards since the scholarship program began in 1996. Each year, more than 400 new awards worth in excess of $600,000 are provided through a variety of programs designed to assist students in the Austin, Texas area and beyond.

Award Amount: The award amount varies depending on the student's demonstrated financial need. Typical awards are usually in the $1,000 range.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about the Austin, TX Kiwanis Scholarship are available online at the Austin Community Foundation website.
