Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based upon the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must enroll full time.
  4. Must demonstrate outstanding academic success.
  5. Must attend Beloit College.
  6. Must enroll as a first-time freshman.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Wisconsin.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for incoming college freshmen who plan to attend Beloit College full time. The student must demonstrate outstanding academic success and significant leadership qualities.

Application requirements for the Beloit College Eaton Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
  • School Report
  • SAT/ACT scores
Additional Information: Eaton Scholarships recognize students who have achieved outstanding academic success and who have shown significant leadership qualities. International and transfer applicants are not eligible for this award. Beloit College merit-based scholarships may be awarded in combination up to a maximum of $30,000 annually.

Award Amount: Up to $30,000 annually, renewable for three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $120,000.

Applicants must apply for admission to Beloit College to be considered for this award. An additional scholarship application is not required. Admissions application instructions are available online on the Beloit College website at www.beloit.edu/prospective/apply/firstyearapplicants/ . Beloit College uses the Common Application as its admissions application, which is available online at www.commonapp.org. In addition to the Common Application, the student must also submit the following: a Beloit College Supplement (part of the Common Application); a School Report, completed by a college advisor or guidance counselor); secondary school transcripts; a teacher recommendation, preferably from someone who has taught him/her within the last year; and official SAT or ACT scores. If the student's first language is not English, he/she must also submit TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores. It is expected that the student will submit the School Report and teacher recommendation via the Common Application. However, Beloit College will also accept those materials by mail, by fax, or in PDF emailed to [email protected] At his/her option, the student may also complete an interview, submit additional letters of recommendation, and/or submit a creative piece. Admissions deadlines are as follows: early decision and early action I, Nov. 1; early action II, Dec. 15; early decision II and regular decision, Jan. 15.
