Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a resident of Hillsborough County, Florida.
  4. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  5. Must plan to attend Hillsborough Community College.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Billy Turney Foundation HCC Scholarship is available for high school seniors in Hillsborough County, Florida who plan to attend Hillsborough Community College. Applicants must demonstrate academic merit and additional preference will be given to students who are working while in school and students who have participated in significant amounts of community service.

Application requirements for the Billy Turney Foundation HCC Scholarship are:

Additional Information: This scholarship is for a high school senior who has a minimum 3.4 UNWEIGHTED GPA and financial need. Preference will be given for a student that is involved in community service or works while in high school.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
