Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must plan to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder.
  4. Must be a resident of the Boulder area and graduate from a Boulder Valley School District high school.
  5. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher.
  7. Must have a SAT score of 1100 or higher OR have a ACT score of 23 or higher.
  8. Must have a ACT score of 23 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. high school seniors who are residents of the Boulder area and will graduate from a Boulder Valley School District high school. Students must plan to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Additional Information: Forever Buffs, the Boulder Alumni Association, provides scholarships annually for students in the Boulder area who are planning to attend the University of Boulder in Colorado.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Applications information is available on the University of Colorado (CU) Boulder Alumni Association website. Applications must be completed online at the University of Boulder website using the online application form. The application requires that applicants list all academic and honors activities (including any leadership roles held), all service and volunteer activities, all sports and extracurricular activities, and all previous job experiences. In addition to the completed application, each applicant must submit the following: a certified high/secondary school transcript and a one-page, typed essay explaining how a significant person and/or event has influenced his/her life, and copies of ACT/SAT scores. Applications and all supporting materials must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
