Additional Information: The Brewster High School Rawson Scholarship was established in 1995 by Julie Rawson, a teacher at Rawson High School. Julie received a $25,000 educator grant through the Milken Family Foundation, and sought to give back to the community by providing financial assistance to students who might not otherwise be able to afford the costs of higher education. The award is administered through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington. The selection of scholarship recipients is based primarily on a combination of academic achievements, strength of recommendations, and unmet fianncial need as calculated by the applicant's expected financial contribution. Additional consideration is given to students who demonstrate strong moral character and integrity through their actions. Scholarship recipients will be notified in early May and will be required to provide additional documentation such as a signed scholarship agreement and verification of enrollment.
