Number of Awards & Eligibility: 22 scholarships are provided through the Cashmere Schools Foundation each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend Cashmere High School in Cashmere, Washington.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior.

Description: The Cashmere Schools Foundation Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors at Cashmere High School in Cashmere, Washington.

Application requirements for the Cashmere Schools Foundation Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Cashmere Schools Foundation has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors at Cashmere High Schools since 2000. Each year, 22 awards are provided. Students may apply for consideration for all Cashmere Schools Foundation programs through the single Community Foundation of North Central Washington application. The selection of scholarship recipients is based primarily on a combination of academic achievements, strength of recommendations, and unmet fianncial need as calculated by the applicant's expected financial contribution. Specific scholarship programs provided by the Cashmere Schools Foundation may also have additional factors for award selection and consideration.

Award Amount: Award amounts vary depending on which award an applicant is selected to receive. Scholarship recipients will be invited to apply for renewal in subsequent years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications for the Cashmere Schools Foundation Scholarship must be completed online at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington website. To apply, students must first create an online account with the community foundation's application portal and complete the eligibility quiz. Students will then be able to access the individual applications for any scholarships they are eligible through the foundation. Applicants are encouraged to gather the following materials prior to beginning the application: their expected family contribution (EFC) from their Student Aid Report (SAR); transcripts from their current educational institution; email addresses for two individuals who will provide a recommendation for the applicant; and a list of activities, awards, and honors the student has received. The Student Aid Report is obtained by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the student's current-year FAFSA must be completed at the time of application. Students may apply to multiple scholarships they are eligible through the foundation application portal by clicking on "copy answers." Students are also advised to pay close attention to any specific short answers, essays, or other supplemental materials required for each specific scholarship's application. All submissions must be completed online by the deadline date. Any late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
