Number of Awards & Eligibility: Please note: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year. Each student meeting the requirements will receive an award.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must enroll full time.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  5. Must attend Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.
  6. Must have a traditional full-time sibling concurrently enrolled at Cedar Crest College during the regular academic year (fall/spring)

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. high school senior females who have a sibling concurrently enrolled full time at Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania are eligible for this award.

Application requirements for the Cedar Crest College Sibling Award are:

  • Official Transcript
  • Application form
  • Recommendation letters (up to 2)
  • Essay
  • ACT/SAT scores
Additional Information: This scholarship is awarded to traditional, full-time siblings who are concurrently enrolled during the regular academic year (Fall/Spring).

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable for up to three years as long as both students remain enrolled full time and maintain good academic standing.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Cedar Crest College website. There is not a separate application for this award. Each student is considered upon admission. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit official transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, a personal essay of 250 to 500 words on a topic of her choice, and up to two teacher evaluations. There is not a set deadline to apply for this award. Applications are accepted throughout the year. For priority consideration, the student should submit his/her application by Dec. 1 for the spring semester and Feb. 15 for the fall semester.
