Number of Awards & Eligibility: Approximately 2,000 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
  5. Must be a resident of one of the states/territories OR one of the specific cities serviced by Comcast.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship is awarded based on the student's academics, leadership abilities, work experiences and strong commitment to their community. High school seniors with a GPA of 2.8 or higher who are residents of an area serviced by Comcast are eligible for this award.

Application requirements for the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship is awarded based on the student's academics, leadership abilities in school activities or through work experiences and strong commitment to community involvement. Students are not required to subscribe to Comcast cable or internet services in order to be eligible for a scholarship. All scholarship recipients will be notified by the end of February. The award will be sent by the end of June to the recipient's home address. The check will be made payable to the recipient's chosen school.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

Information is available online at the Leaders and Achievers website. Nomination packages will be sent to the principals of eligible high schools. Each high school will then nominate one student to participate in the scholarship program. The applicant should NOT contact Comcast to request application materials directly, as they are not distributed upon request. Interested students should contact their school's guidance counselor, instead. To determine student eligibility and request nomination forms, counselors and principals may contact International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. using the phone number or email address provided. Principals should turn in the name of their designated nominee and all required application materials by the deadline date. Nominations received after the deadline will not be considered.
