Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are planning on or currently attending an accredited college/university or continuing education program. Students must create an advertisement against distracted driving to enter.

Application requirements for the Comedy Defensive Driving Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Submissions will be judged based on the quality of the content and how it effectively convinces drivers to stay focused on the road. The spring scholarship recipient will be announced by on or around June 30 and the fall/winter scholarship recipient will be announced on or around January 31.

Award Amount: $1,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.

Application information is available on the Comedy Defensive Driving website. To apply, each student design an advertisement against distracted driving. All forms of ads accepted including: PSA, music, billboards, media, graphics, etc. There are no time restraints. Overt profanity, nudity, and plagiarism are not permitted. The student must submit his/her advertisement via email to the address provided. The student should include his/her name and the best method of contact. Applications must be submitted by the deadline date. Please note: Phone calls, physical mail, faxes, etc. will not be permitted; students must communicate via email.
