Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a member of Arizona Central Credit Union in Phoenix, Glendale, Tempe, Chandler, Flagstaff, or Show Low in Arizona.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The CU Succeed Scholarship is available for high school seniors who are members of the Arizona Central Credit Union in Phoenix, Glendale, Tempe, Chandler, Flagstaff, or Show Low in Arizona.

Application requirements for the CU Succeed Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter
  • Official Transcript
  • Essay
Additional Information: Recipients must be members of the Arizona Central Credit Union and in good standing at the time of the award. Students may apply for credit union membership immediately prior to the scholarship application.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years. Students wishing to renew must remain credit union members, and must provide proof of full time enrollment. Funds in subsequent years will be paid out on a semi-annual basis.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $8,000.

Applications and additional information about this scholarship are available online at the Arizona Central Credit Union website. To be considered for an award, students must submit a completed application form as well as the following supporting documents: two letters of recommendation from instructors or employers; an official high school transcript showing a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; and a types essay of up to 1,000 words in length that addresses the topics listed on the application. All applications and supporting documents must be sent by postal mail and must be postmarked no later than the deadline date. Official transcripts may be sent seperately, and must be received within 30 days of application submission.
