Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school or college student or a U.S. military veteran.
  2. Must be enrolled in a JROTC, ROTC or Boy Scout Explorer program.
  3. Must be attending or currently enrolled at a post-high school institution or graduate school in the United States.

Eligible applicants must be high-school students currently in a JROTC or Boy Scout Explorer program that has been accepted to and will be attending a post-high school institution in the United States. Application requirements for the Drummond Law Firm Scholarship are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: Applicants must be one of the following: • A high-school student currently in a JROTC or Boy Scout Explorer program that has been accepted to and will be attending a post-high school institution in the United States. • A student currently enrolled in a college and a member of their college’s ROTC program. • A US Military Veteran that is currently enrolled in post-high school institution or graduate school. The winner of the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in the Fall of each year, and the funds can be used toward tuition or books. To apply, you must fill out a form on the provider website and must write an essay about why you want to or have served our country or how our Service-members who serve our country affect your daily living. Applications should be in English. Essays should be written in English and typed in 12-point font. The scholarship winner’s essay may appear on the law firm’s blog. You must also submit a recommendation letter from their instructor of JROTC, ROTC or a former military supervisor (if applicable) and documentation of being enrolled in a post-high school institution (if applicable). Any other documentation you would like to be considered (ex: awards, photographs, etc).

Award Amount: Winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
