Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be 21 years of age or less.
  3. Must be a resident of North Dakota.
  4. Must be a current or former 4-H member.
  5. Must attend or plan to attend a college or university in North Dakota.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be entering college as a freshman.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. students who will be entering a North Dakota college or university as a freshman. Students must be current or former 4-H members and be 21 years of age or less.

Additional Information: Selection is based on academic potential and 4-H participation.

Award Amount: $500 annually, non-renewable  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Applications are available on the North Dakota 4-H Foundation website. A student may apply for more than one scholarship using the same application.In addition to a completed application, the applicant must submit a copy of his/her transcript; and an attachment of two pages answering the questions listed on the application. A word processor or computer may be used to complete the application. The student should type or print using black ink. Attachments must be on plain white 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper. The application must have the signatures of the student's parent and 4-H extension agent to be considered complete.The application is due at the Center for 4-H Youth Development at the address listed on the deadline date.
