Greater Kansas City Community Foundation
Award amounts vary depending on the availability of funding and the selected recipients' financial need. A minimum of $1,000 will be provided to each recipient. Funds will be paid out in equal installments during the fall and spring semester and may be used for educational expenses such as tuition, room and board, books, and other academic fees.

The Harley and Geneva Anderson Memorial Scholarship Fund, K-12 is provided annually for Kansas Cirty area students who are planning to study in a Scandinavian Country, as well as students from Scandinavian Countries who are planning to study in the Greater Kansas City metro area. Applicants must be in good academic standing and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. This award is managed and administered through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, a local area charity founded in 1978 with the mission of providing assistance and centralized resources for decentralized charitable causes and giving.
