Additional Information: All of Harvard's financial aid is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need - there are no academic, athletic or merit-based awards. Harvard is strongly committed to making educational opportunity accessible to all. Harvard meets 100 percent of each family's demonstrated need, and an estimated 70 percent of Harvard undergraduates receive financial aid.

Award Amount: For the current academic year, the estimated cost of attendance is approximately $67,580. Harvard's financial aid program is designed to meet the students' full financial need, and awards are renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $135,160.

To apply for financial aid, the student must follow the appropriate application procedure for his/her residency status: U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/Canadian citizen, and foreign citizen. U.S. citizens must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. All other applicants must file the CSS PROFILE, available through the College Board at www.collegeboard.com. Please note: To be considered for financial aid, the student must also apply for admission to Harvard. Admissions information is available at https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/apply/application-timeline . All preliminary admissions applications are due by Jan. 1. Admitted students must submit initial components of the financial aid application process by January 31.
