Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be enrolled full time.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
  4. Must be majoring in industrial engineering.
  5. Must be a student member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers as reflected on his/her October chapter roster or before. New member applications must be completely processed prior to the end of September in order for students to be eligible.
  6. Must be a college freshman or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  7. Must attend a college or university in the U.S., its territories, Canada, or Mexico.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for current undergraduate students who are majoring in industrial engineering, have a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, and are members of the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Additional Information: The award was created to reward outstanding academic scholarship and leadership at the undergraduate level. Must be enrolled in any school in the United States and its territories, Canada or Mexico, provided the school's engineering program or equivalent is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by IISE. Scholastic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession, and need for financial assistance are all considered by the scholarship fund trustees when selecting the scholarship recipients.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

A student cannot directly apply for this scholarship; he/she must be nominated by his/her industrial engineering department head or faculty adviser. Nomination forms are available on the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) website and must be completed online by Nov. 15. All application materials must be received by the deadline date.
