  1. This award is for U.S. and international students studying in the U.S.
  2. Must demonstrate a commitment to community service.
  3. Must be accepted to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Description: The Impact on the Community Scholarship is available for students who are accepted to or enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in the U.S. To apply, applicants must submit an original essay of between 750 to 1,000 words describing their impact on and contributions to the community.

Additional Information: The attorneys at Silberstein, Awad & Miklos, P.C. are proud to announce the Impact on the Community Scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated a commitment to community service and helping others. Scholarship selection will be based on the strength of examples provided in the essay response, as well as academic and professional records that indicate a strong potential for future success.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application instructions and additional details about the Impact on the Community Scholarship are available online at the Silberstein, Awad & Miklos, P.C. website. To apply for this program, students must submit the following: an essay; an updated resume; and a copy of transcripts covering all completed coursework. Essays must be between 750 and 1,000 words in length and must be written in response to the current year's topic prompt. All submissions must be made by email and all documents must be uploaded as individual attachments. The body of the email must contain the applicant's name and contact information, and the subject line of the email must be in the following format: "[Applicant’s Name} – Impact on the Community". All scholarship submissions must be received no later than the deadline date.
