Number of Awards & Eligibility: There are three scholarships to be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current high school senior; or enrolled or accepted as a full-time (12 credit hours) student in an accredited technical school, community college, trade school, four-year accredited college or university, or an apprentice program.

Description: The Sandra Imprescia Essay Scholarship Committee will review essays to determine the top three. IWSH’s Board of Trustees will select and announce essay contest winners by August 31, 2021.

Additional Information: The International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH) intends to shed light on the importance the plumbing industry plays in our everyday lives. This scholarship will help introduce students to the global impact of IWSH projects. Applicants must be a current high school senior; or enrolled or accepted as a full-time (12 credit hours) student in an accredited technical school, community college, trade school, four-year accredited college or university, or an apprentice program. Three scholarships will be granted in the following amounts: 1st place- $1,000 2nd place-$750 3rd place-$500

Award Amount: 1st place- $1,000 2nd place-$750 3rd place-$500  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,250.
