Application requirements for the IWSH Scholarship Essay Contest are:

Additional Information: The Sandra Imprescia Essay Scholarship Committee and IWSH’s Board of Directors will work together to select the essays that best demonstrate an understanding of IWSH's work and the importance of access to clean water. Essay winners will be announced by August.

Award Amount: The first place winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a one-year IWSH membership. The second place winner will receive $750 and the third place winner will receive $500. All winners will have their essays published in Official (an IWSH publication) and on the IWSH website.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $750.

Additional information can be found on the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) website. To apply, students must write an essay between 800 and 1,600 words on the topic listed on the website and provide a copy of their full time schedule to confirm eligibility. The essay and schedule must be submitted by email, fax, or mailed by 11:59 p.m. PST on the deadline date.
