Additional Information: The Jerry Van Winkle Memorial Scholarship is provided in memory of Jerry Van Winkle. Jerry was a lifelong educator and student who returned to school at 55 to earn his Master's Degree and become a schol counselor. Although late in life, this switch in career focus allowed him to focus on what he truly loved: sharing the gift of education with deserving students who might not have otherwise had an opportunity to pursue higher education. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic achievement, unmet financial need, strong more character, and evidence of personal growth throughout the high school years.
