  2. Must have attended San Ardo Elementary School or must currently live in the San Ardo area.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.

Description: The Jess Harrison Family Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors at King City High School. Applicants must also have attended San Ardo Elementary School or must currently live in the San Ardo area.

Application requirements for the Jess Harrison Family Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Jess Harrison Family Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at King City High School who either attended San Ardo Elementary School or currently reside in the San Ardo area. In addition to the above stated application requirements, students must submit two letters of recommendation and responses to two short questions. Evaluation of applications and award selection will be based on a combination of factors including academic achievement, financial need, and the strength of submitted recommendation letters. The Community Foundation for Monterey County is home to more than 45 named scholarship funds, all designed to assist students in the local community who are pursuing higher education. Each year, more than 125 individual scholarships are awarded through these funds to a variety of students of diverse backgrounds, interests, and career goals.

Award Amount: $4,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
