  1. Must reside in and attend school in Burkburnett, Texas.
  2. Must be a high school senior.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must plan to attend Midwestern State University.

Description: The John Crane Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in Burkburnett, Texas. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to attend Midwestern State University.

Additional Information: The John Crane Scholarship is administered by the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, and is awarded annually for the purpose of rewarding Burkburnett area high school students who show a combination of academic achievement and unmet financial need. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be current high school seniors in Burkburnett, Texas and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must plan to attend Midwestern State University and may plan to major in any field of study. Additional consideration will be given to scholarship applicants who are associated with the First Christian Church of Burkburnett.

Award Amount: $2,500  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
