Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a female or female-identifying student.
  4. Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: This scholarship is open to female-identifying undergraduate and graduate students who exhibit strong leadership skills, as demonstrated by past and present educational, professional, and volunteer experiences. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Application requirements for the Kerri Castellini Women’s Leadership Scholarship are:

  • Resume

  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: Candidates must exhibit strong leadership skills, as demonstrated by past and present educational, professional, and volunteer experiences. The winner will be announced in summer.

Award Amount: $1000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application information is available on the scholarship program website. To apply, each student must submit the following materials: a current resume that lists academic, professional, and volunteer experience, especially any leadership experience in these fields; a 500-word essay that addresses "Describe an ideal woman leader in the 21st century; how do you believe that you exemplify this role in your daily life and career aspirations?"; an official transcript from his/her current or most recent institution (unofficial from current institution acceptable if grades unavailable); and a recommendation letter written by someone who can attest to her leadership goals, achievements, and capabilities. Application materials must be emailed to the provided address no later than deadline date.
