In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a two to a five-year post-secondary institution for the Fall semester.
  2. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and good overall academic standing.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys, seek to bring attention to cases of medical malpractice with the goal of making hospitals a safer place for all. Injuries within hospitals are becoming more common every year due to negligence and medical malpractice. Medical errors are a significant cause of death in the United States. We want to have a discussion on different ways to improve hospital conditions and we believe this scholarship is a perfect opportunity. Raising awareness is the first step in making hospitals safer for all of us. The medical malpractice lawyers at Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys, want to bring attention to hospital safety – and discuss solutions to the issue. We want to hear your ideas, and the student who has the best idea will receive a $1,000 check to put towards their education!

Application requirements for the Lowenthal & Abrams Hospital Safety Awareness Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Resume
Additional Information: Employees of Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the competition.

Award Amount: Chosen applicant will receive $1,000.   The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
