Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior or non-traditional student.
  2. Must be a resident of Washington State.
  3. Must plan to attend a college or university in Washington.

Description: The Marjorie M. and William H. Griffin Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors and non-traditional students in Washington State. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college or university in the State of Washington.

Application requirements for the Marjorie M. and William H. Griffin Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Marjorie M. and William H. Griffin Scholarship was established in 2017 to assist students in the State of Washington who may not otherwise be able to afford higher education. Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors as well as non-traditional students who are returning to school after time in the workforce or raising a family. Scholarship selection will be based on academic merit, unmet financial need, and the student's demonstrated willingness to work to support themselves and achieve their goals. Additional preference may be given to students who are enrolling in a music program.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
