  2. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  3. Must reside in and attend school in Wichita County, Texas.
  4. Must attend a public college or university in Texas.

Additional Information: The McCoy Scholarship was established by Jim and Vicki McCoy in 2002, and it is provided annually through the administration of the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to assist local area high school students who demonstrate a combination of academic achievement and unmet financial need. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be current high school seniors in Wichita County, Texas, and must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants may plan to attend a public college or university in the State of Texas. Recipients must maintain satisfacatory academic achievement to remain eligible for scholarship renewal in future years.

Award Amount: $6,000 annually, renewable for up to four full years of undergraduate study.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $12,000.
