Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Tennessee.
  3. Must enroll full time at an accredited public or private not-for-profit university, technical, or community college.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  5. Must graduate from Anderson County High School in Clinton, Tennessee.
  6. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors graduating from Anderson County High School in Clinton, Tenn. Selection of recipients will be based on leadership and achievment in arts, athletics, citizenship, community/religious service and academics.

Application requirements for the Michael D. Curtin Renaissance Student Memorial Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Michael D. Curtin Memorial Scholarship of the East Tennessee Foundation was established by family and friends of Michael to benefit graduating seniors of Anderson County High School who demonstrate leadership or achievement in a balanced array of activities, including the arts, athletics, citizenship, church, and academics.

Award Amount: $1,250 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications are available on the East Tennessee Foundation website. Prior to starting the application, students must obtain a copy of the East Tennessee Foundation scholarship guide and application instructions. The guide can be obtained online from the East Tennessee Foundation website. Students must review this guide in order to determine if additional supplementary materials may be required in order to complete the application. Completed applications and the required supplemental materials must be sent to the address listed above, postmarked no later than the deadline to be considered.
