Up to $12,500 annually ($6,250 for tuition and $6,250 for on-campus housing). Eligible non-Missouri residents will also receive a full waiver of non-resident fees. The award is renewable for up to three additional years by maintaining a grade point average of 3.6 or higher and completing at least 30 credit hours per year. Recipeints are required to complete an average of 40 hours of community or campus service each year during the first three years to renew during the fourth year.

Qualified candidates will be notified of their status in late December and invited to attend a scholarship interview and program to be held in early 2019. Attendance at the interview is required for consideration for the scholarship. Those who attend the interview day will also be considered for the University Scholarship. After interviews have taken place, all candidates will be evaluated and students will be selected for the Presidential Scholarship and University Scholarship by mid-February. The MSU Presidential Scholarship cannot be combined with any of the following MSU scholarships: Academic, Board of Governors, and Recognition. Students who eligible to apply but are not chosen will receive the Board of Governors Scholarship.
