Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must plan to major in music.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be graduating from a high school in Greater Middletown Ohio (Franklin, Madison, Monroe, Trenton, Middletown).
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors who reside in and attend a school in the Greater Middletown, Ohio, area. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must plan to major in music.

Application requirements for the Monna H. Conn Music Scholarship are:

  • Resume
Additional Information: This scholarship is provided annually to honor the memory of Monna H. Conn, a long-time resident of Middletown with an incredible love of music and education. To preserve her memory, one award will be provided each year to a high school senior in Greater Middletown Ohio (Franklin, Madison, Monroe, Trenton, Middletown) who plans to major in music.

Award Amount: $445 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $445.

Applications and information about this award are available online at the Middletown Community Foundation using the link provided. To be considered for this award, students must submit an online application form, including the personal information section, family information, and financial information. In addition, the student must also submit a copy of his/her most recent high school transcripts including SAT/ACT scores, and a resume detailing work experience and/or community service participation. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted online by the deadline date.
