In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate student, or graduate student at the time of application.
  2. Must be majoring in (or planning to major in) a field related to medicine.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

Description: The MurseWorld Pay It Forward Scholarship is available for high school seniors who are planning to major in a medical field and current undergraduate or graduate students who are enrolled in a medically related field. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: MurseWorld, a top provider of men's medical clothing and scrubs, is committed to reognizing and assisting students who show a strong potential to be effective and compassionate medical professionals. Between five and ten finalists will be selected based on the strength of their submitted essays, and all finalist submissions will be posted online for public voting to decide the ultimate winner. Although not required for eligibility, additional consideration will be given to applications from students with disabilities.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
