  1. Must reside in Sonoma County, CA.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must demonstrate a record of academic achievement and involvement in community & extracurricular activities.
  4. This award is for U.S. and international students.

Description: The Performance Scholarships of Sonoma Valley is available for graduating high school seniors in Sonoma County, California. Applicants must demonstrate unmet financial need, outstanding academic achievement, and a record of participation in extracurricular and community activities.

Additional Information: The Performance Scholarships of Sonoma Valley is provided annually by the Vadasz Family Fund and seeks to assist students who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, and a clear vision of goals and aspirations. Financial need will also be considered during award selection.

Award Amount: $3,600 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,600.

Applications are available on the Silicon Valley Community Foundation website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must also submit the following: two letters of recommendation (the letters must be from the people listed on the application); an official transcript of grades; a personal statement addressing the topics listed on the application; evidence of financial need as described on the application; and proof of U.S. citizenship (photocopy of birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers). The complete application packet must be completed online by the deadline date.
