Number of Awards & Eligibility: Three awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled college/trade school student.
  3. Must be studying to become a plumber, HVAC technician, or sprinkler & irrigation specialist (or in a related field, such as construction management).

Description: This scholarship contest is open to high school seniors and currently enrolled students who plan to have a career in plumbing, HVAC, or sprinkler/irrigation systems (or a related field such as construction management). Students must submit a "how to" video on a home repair topic to apply.

Application requirements for the PlumbersStock Student Scholarship Contest are:

Additional Information: Applicants must be attending a participating institution. If a prospective applicant's school is not participating, he/she is encouraged to have his/her school contact PlumbersStock. Only those going to schools within the United States are eligible. The program is designed with the intent that all participants can enhance their job placement prospects. All entries will be evaluated by a chosen panel of judges. They will be judged by the information presented, creativity, and overall quality (though production quality is the least important factor). Winners will be announced in April 30.

Award Amount: The first-place winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship, and two runners-up will each receive a $500 scholarship. Awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the PlumbersStock website. To apply, the student must create a video that is a "how to" guide for home improvement novices demonstrating his/her skill in plumbing, HVAC, or irrigation. The video must be no longer than 10 minutes and must follow the guidelines posted on the PlumbersStock website. The video must be published to a free hosting site like YouTube or Vimeo. The student must also complete the online application and include a link to his/her video. Applications must be received by the deadline date.
