Number of Awards & Eligibility: Ten awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have resided in central New York in one of the following counties for a minimum of two years: Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga or Oswego.
  3. Must enroll as a full-time student.
  4. Must be of Polish descent.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  6. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and graduate award.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Polish Scholarship Fund was established to give financial assistance to students of Polish descent that reside in one of the following central New York counties: Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego. Recipients must be enrolled full time at an accredited college, university, or technical school.

Additional Information: The Polish Scholarship Fund, Inc. was established to give financial assistance to students of Polish descent. Students are selected based on scholastic aptitude, financial need, career aspirations, extracurricular activities and participation in Polish community activities.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the Polish Scholarship Fund website. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must provide the following items: one copy of his/her transcript from the most recently attended school and a maximum of three letters of recommendation. All applications and supporting materials must be received by the deadline date.
