Additional Information: The Richard W. Bendicksen, N7ZL, Memorial Scholarship is provided annually to a student at any four-year college or university who has an active amateur radio license (any class). Recipients are typically notified by mid-May by USPS mail and email.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation website. Applications must be completed online. Students need only submit one application for all scholarships for which they are eligible. The student must provide contact information for one educational reference, one character reference, and one social reference on the online application. The student must also submit a copy of his/her academic transcript from his/her most recently completed school year to the email address provided. The transcript must be scanned and submitted as a PDF.
