Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of North Dakota.
  3. Must not be older than the age of 21 as of Sept. 1 of the current year.
  4. Must be enrolled in a North Dakota postsecondary school in the fall.
  5. Must be a current or former 4-H member at time of application.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must be a high school senior or be accepted or enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited college or university.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for North Dakota high school seniors and current undergraduate students who are current or former 4-H members. Students must be 21 years of age or less.

Additional Information: This award will be given to a North Dakota 4-H member or former member who will be enrolled in a North Dakota postsecondary school in the fall.

Award Amount: $400 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $400.

Applications are available on the North Dakota 4-H Foundation website. A student may apply for more than one scholarship using the same application. In addition to a completed application, the applicant must submit a copy of his/her transcript; and an attachment of two pages answering the questions listed on the application. A word processor or computer may be used to complete the application. The student should type or print using black ink. Attachments must be on plain white 8.5-inch by 11-inch paper. The application must have the signatures of the student's parent and 4-H extension agent to be considered complete. The application is due at the Center for 4-H Youth Development at the address provided on the deadline date.
