Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two scholarships are provided annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior.
  2. Must attend Bartlett High School or Shepherd Hill Regional High School in MA.

Description: The Santo J. and Ellen M. DiDonato Memorial Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Bartlett High School or Shepherd Hill Regional High School.

Application requirements for the Santo J. and Ellen M. DiDonato Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
Additional Information: The Santo J. and Ellen M. DiDonato Memorial Scholarship is provided annually through the Greater Worcester Community Foundation (GWCF). To be eligible, students must be graduating seniors at Bartlett High School or Shepherd Hill Regional High School. All applications that are completed and submitted to GWCF by the deadline date will be given full consideration based on academic records, unmet financial need, and the quality of recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $3,900 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,900.

Applications for 2019 have closed, but the Santo J. and Ellen M. DiDonato Memorial Scholarship is expected to be offered again in 2020. Please check back in January when applications are expected to become available. Applications, instructions, and additional information about this scholarship can be found online at the Greater Worcester Community Foundation website. To apply for the Santo J. and Ellen M. DiDonato Memorial Scholarship, students must complete the online scholarship application form. All applications will also require the student to upload a copy of current transcripts for all academic coursework completed at their current school, as well as a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or other adult community leader who is familiar with the applicant. All applications and supporting documents must be received online no later than the deadline date.
