Description: The Shelley N. Bourque Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for graduating high school seniors at Belchertown High School in Belchertown, MA.

Additional Information: Provided annually through a partnership with the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts, the Shelley N. Bourque Memorial Scholarship Fund is awarded each year to a student from Belchertown. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors at Belchertown High School, and must plan to attend an accredited college or university during the upcoming fall semester. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic achievements, unmet financial need, and other responses on the scholarship application form.

Award Amount: Scholarships are typically awarded in the amount of $1,000 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the Shelley N. Bourque Memorial Scholarship Fund are available and accepted between January 1 and March 31. To apply for this scholarship, students must complete the online application at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts website. Completed application forms will also require students to submit a recent copy of transcripts as well as their current year Student Aid Report. The Student Aid report is obtained when the student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
