In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have graduated high school in 2019.
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Description: The Spark Your Life Scholarship is available for high school seniors who graduated in 2019 and have been accepted to an accredited college or university.

Application requirements for the Spark Your Life Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Spark Your Life Scholarship is provided annually by Spark Energy, and awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement. Consideration will also be given to the quality of essay submissions, with special emphasis on those who provide a compelling response to the topic prompt. Scholarship recipients will be notified in mid September.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.

Applications and details about the Spark Your Life Scholarship are available online from the Spark Energy website. To be considered for this scholarship, students must complete the online application form and attach the following supplemental documents: an essay and a copy of transcripts. Essays must be approximately 500 words in length and transcripts must include grades for the student's first semester of their high school senior year. All applications, essays, and transcripts must be submitted online through the online application form and must be received no later than the deadline date.
