Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  3. Must graduate from a Baltimore city public high school.
  4. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must be accepted to Stevenson University.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for U.S. students who are currently high school seniors at a Baltimore area public high school. Applicants must be accepted to Stevenson University and have a high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Stevenson University is happy to support the CollegeBound Foundation in its efforts to provide students with an opportunity for a college education.

Award Amount: This award covers full tuition and fees (currently valued at $30,998), and is renewable for three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $123,992.

Information is available online at the CollegeBound Foundation website. Applications are only available online through the online portal. In addition to completing the CollegeBound Foundation Competitive Scholarship Application, the applicant must also submit the following: two letters of recommendation; a copy of his/her college acceptance letter(s); a typed essay addressing the topic listed on the application (if applicable); community service verification(s) (if applicable); and a copy of his/her recent high school transcript, including the first semester of the senior year. Students applying for this award must submit the following items as proof of financial need: a copy of his/her Student Aid Report (SAR) or a copy of his/her parents' most recent tax return; a financial aid award letter from the college he/she will attend (the applicant should send a copy of the financial aid award letter as soon as it is received); and a Maryland Higher Education Commission Financial Aid Award Letter (if applicable). The SAR is obtained by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. All application materials must be received online by the deadline.
