In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a resident of Texas.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must be pursuing a career in the floral industry.
  5. Must be pursuing or plan to pursue postsecondary education or training. This scholarship may be used at any accredited floral design school, state association or credentialed class, community, junior college, university level, or attendance at a regional or state floral industry convention.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award will be given to applicants who wish to pursue floral training at any accredited floral design school, state association or credentialed class, community college, junior college, university level, or attendance at a regional or state floral industry convention. The applicant must be a resident of Texas.

Application requirements for the Texas Floral Endowment Memorial Scholarship are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The scholarship is offered in honor of those who dedicated their lives to the Texas State Florists' Association and the floral industry. The recipient of this scholarship must utilize scholarship within two years of the award. Awardees are announced during the Endowment presentation each year in July at the Texas State Florists' Association Annual Convention.

Award Amount: $100 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
