Application requirements for the Trinity University International Scholarship are:

  • Application form to Trinity University
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letter
  • Official test scores
  • $50 application fee
Additional Information: Financial aid is only available for first-time foreign students. International transfer applicants are not typically considered for this scholarship. Trinity University is need-conscious when making decisions of admission with regard to foreign students. When reviewing foreign applications, Trinity takes into account whether or not an applicant has requested financial assistance. Applying for financial aid places the applicant in an extremely competitive applicant pool. Merit scholarships are based on the strength of the student's academic profile as measured by the following criteria: rigor of and performance in secondary school coursework, standardized tests, strength of essay, involvement outside of the classroom, and recommendations from school officials. Need-based financial aid is based on the demonstrated financial support of the student's family. Competition for this type of aid is keen. Financial aid awards will be given with an offer of admission to Trinity. If additional assistance is needed during the application process, students may contact Inessa Stepanenko, international student advisor, from the international programs office at [email protected]

Award Amount: The monetary award amount varies according to the student's demonstrated academic merit and financial need. However, upon acceptance to Trinity, the university will meet 100 percent of the student's demonstrated financial need. The average award amount is between $4,000 and $16,000 annually. Awards are renewable up to a maximum of three additional years by maintaining a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $40,000.
