Application requirements for the Winthrop International Baccalaureate Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Winthrop University is a comprehensive teaching university committed to academic excellence, cultural diversity, and public service. It is a medium-sized, residential institution with national-caliber academic programs and strong community spirit.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable for three additional years provided the student maintains full-time enrollment with 12 or more credit hours and a 3.0 grade point average.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.

Students who apply for admission Winthrop University (WU) will be automatically evaluated for scholarship eligibility during the admission process. A separate scholarship application is not required. Interested students must contact Winthrop University admissions by phone, e-mail, mail, or website to request an application packet, or apply online from the college website. The complete application for admission will include the application form, application fee, official high school transcript, and SAT or ACT scores. For priority scholarship consideration, a completed application must be received by the Office of Admissions by February 1.
