Additional Information: The Zonta Club of Johnson County, Kansas Scholarship Fund is provided annually for the purpose of encouraging young women in higher education. During award selection, preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a history of leadership, community participation, service, and involvement, and a commitment to the cause of women's rights. Additional preference will be given to students demonstrating an international perspective. This award is managed and administered through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, a local area charity founded in 1978 with the mission of providing assistance and centralized resources for decentralized charitable causes and giving. Award Amount: Up to $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Funds may be used for tuition, books, and other educational fees.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
