Prizes are awarded as follows: first prize of $1,000; second prize of $500; third prize of $250; and five honorable mention prizes of $100. All awards are made on an annual basis and are non-renewable.

The Christophers, a non-profit organization founded in 1945, uses mass media to encourage all individuals to recognize and use their unique abilities to raise the standards of public life. The Christophers' motto is: 'It's better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.' Posters will be judged on overall impact, and effectiveness in conveying the theme, originality, and artistic merit. Judges' decisions are final. Winning entrants who are U.S. citizens or residents will be required to provide their social security number before cash prizes can be awarded. Please note: Posters cannot be returned. All entries become the property of The Christophers. Winners will be announced in April.
