Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of eligible applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be an incoming first-time-in-college freshman.
  3. Must plan to attend the University of North Florida.
  4. Must be the valedictorian or salutatorian or rank in the top 10 percent of his/her graduating class OR be a National Merit/Achievement/Hispanic Scholar.
  5. Must have a demonstrated commitment to community service.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who are planning to attend the University of North Florida and have demonstrated financial need. Students must be valedictorian, salutatorian, rank in the top 10 percent of their graduating class, or be National Merit/Achievement/Hispanic Scholars.

Application requirements for the UNF Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Education Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Resume
  • Recommendation letter
  • Personal statement
  • FAFSA
  • Interview (if requested)
Additional Information: Students must demonstrate financial need. Financial need is determined by a student's campus cost of attendance minus the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) as calculated from the FAFSA and other aid received. Students may be required to schedule a scholarship interview. Such students will be provided with the date and time for the interview. Recipients of this scholarship are required to enroll in one business ethics course prior to their junior year. Current UNF students and transfer students are not eligible to apply.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, renewable for three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $8,000.
