Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for students in the U.S.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must demonstrate a history of participation in community service.
  4. Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work/attend school in the United States

Description: The McNeely Stephenson Community Involvement Scholarship is available for current high school seniors who are deeply committed and involved with community service. Applicants must demonstrate proof of acceptance at an accredited college or university in the United States.

Application requirements for the McNeely Stephenson Community Involvement Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Essay
  • Copy of acceptance letter
Additional Information: Commitment and participation with community service and charitable causes will be the primary metric of selection for this scholarship. Students will also be evaluated on how well they express complex concepts through the written word.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for and information about the McNeely Stephenson Community Involvement Scholarship can be found online at the Mcneely Stephenson website. To apply for this award, students must submit the following items: a completed online application form; a copy of the acceptance letter for an accredited college or university; and a short essay describing his or her community service involvement and experiences. The essay should also address how this scholarship award could assist in the student's education and/or future service projects. All applications must be completed online no later than the deadline date.
