Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a current high school senior or a high school graduate entering his/her freshman year of college.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  4. Must be an AEA member, OR a child, grandchild or dependent of an AEA member. This includes all regular, associate, academic, and international members of AEA.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. and international students who are entering their freshman year of college and are AEA members, or the children, grandchildren or dependents of an AEA member. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

  • Recommendation letter
  • Essay
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: Applicants must be current members of the Aircraft Electronics Association. Non-members are not eligible for this award. Scholarship funds may be applied to tuition costs only.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the Aircraft Electronics Assocation (AEA) website. Each applicant must submit the following in addition to the completed application: a high school or college transcript (as applicable); a dated, signed letter of recommendation by a teacher or counselor at the institution he/she currently attends that is familiar with his/her work (form included as part of application); and a typed, double-spaced essay of 300 words or less on the topic listed on the application. All applications and supporting documents must be received by the listed deadline date.
