In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have a high school cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  2. Must have an SAT score of 920 or higher OR an ACT score of 19 or higher.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  4. Must be between the ages of 17 and 26.
  5. Must be interested in attending a school with an Army ROTC program and be willing to commit to service in the Army after college graduation.
  6. Must be a current college freshman with three years remaining in a degree program.
  7. This award is for U.S. students.

Description: U.S. students who are between the ages of 17 and 26 and have a high school diploma and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher are eligible for this award. Applicants must have SAT/ACT scores of 920/19 or higher.

Additional Information: The Three-Year Scholarship is for current college students with three years remaining in their degree program. Students must meet minimum physical standards, and must agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard). This commitment is for eight years; the student must serve full time in the Army for four years and serve an additional four years in the IRR (Individual Ready Reserve). Selected cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career. Award Amount: Full tuition and fees or room and board for any participating college or university, renewable until graduation (up to three years). Army ROTC Scholarships also provide monthly living allowances for each school year.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,500.
