In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be an incoming transfer student who has earned an associates degree or its equivalent.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
  6. Must plan to transfer to Ashland University in Ohio.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must have an associates degree.

Application requirements for the Ashland University – Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Student Scholarship are:

  • Official Transcript
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
Additional Information: Phi Theta Kappa designation on transcript is required.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, renewable for up to three years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
